I think studying English in foreign countries is the most exciting experience that teenagers can do… It’s the best way to improve the language and learn a lot about new places.
I had this kind of experience, but nothing has ever been better than spend two weeks in English Language Institute Ireland! The atmosphere is simply perfect. Irish students and teachers are friendly, the building is comfortable and the lessons are funny and useful.
Also the organization is really good: there are people available to bring you to the most interesting places in Dublin. For example, wouldn’t you like to visit the centre of the famous Irish game called hurling, the Croke Park?
Or wouldn’t you see the dancers of the typical Irish show? No hesitations, no doubts: English Language Institute Ireland in Dublin! See you again after exams.

The three weeks in English Language Institute Ireland were one of the interesting time in my life.
I met a lot of people from all over the world and learned much about other cultures. New country, foreign food and other languages. It is an experience you will never forget.
At first I thought, “I don’t want to go to school in my holidays!” But you don’t have to study boring things. You learn about Ireland and about history you can use back in your own country. My teacher was great and showed us some Irish dancing.
I learned English and also a little bit of other languages because some of the other students gave me a few Spanish or Italian lessons and I taught them some German phrases! It was a great time and I’m sure that I will go to Ireland again.

Hello my name is Saori Akiyama, I’m from Yamanashi in Japan.
I would like to thank English Language Institute Ireland for finding me a host family and sending a very kind and good teacher to my host family home every day for 9 months in 2009 to study business English.
When I came to Ireland I was very nervous, I was on my own and didn’t know anybody. The host family were so kind to me and learned many new things that are different from my culture like baking, knitting sweater, drama class, horseback riding.
The English Language Institute Ireland arranged everything for me I didn’t have to worry, they even got me a job in a shop.
My confidence is great now, I am like a new woman, my mother doesn’t know me when I come home.
Now I work in a English Language School in my home town I use my English everyday.
Thank you Mark for your patience and help, Michelle for making sure everything was fine for me and getting me job. Jane my teacher, you taught me so much for my business now and I keep write a diary in English, and my lovely host mom Marjorie for being my mother in Ireland.
