Location:
English Language Institute Ireland is located in the scenic coastal town of Baldoyle, a mature residential suburb of Dublin. We are serviced by local buses and trains. Baldoyle is 18 minutes by train to the City Centre and 10 minutes from the picturesque fishing villages of Howth and Malahide.
Host Families:
Many of our host families are located in the Baldoyle area and are within walking distance of our school centres, most of our families have over 20 years experience of hosting students from all over the world and many are happy to give students the space to entertain their new classmates in some home cooking and ‘International Evenings’ where everyone can relax, get to know each other and learn something new.
Teachers:
English Language Institute Ireland employs a much valued team of experienced, enthusiastic teachers who are university graduates and qualified teachers of English as a Second Language at all levels and have experience of working with students both in Ireland and abroad.
Student Welfare:
Student Welfare is Paramount.
We have an experienced and dedicated Student Placement Officer who liaises with host families to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable stay for each student under the guidelines of the Advisory Council for English Language Schools in Ireland (ACELS). Our Student Liaison Officer works alongside our Student Placement Officer, teachers and non-Acedemic staff in order to assist and guide students in every aspect of their stay with us.
School Guides:
Our School Guides are very imporant members of our Team. Our Guides are friendly, fun and knowledgable and assist students in their daily visits and excursions.
The Learning never stops:
Our midweek afternoon visits and activities, our full and half day excursions are carefully chosen to give maximum benefit to the student.
We have an excellent blend of fun and excitement, combined with the opportunity to gain an insight to and appreciation of Irelands unique
Culture, Heritage and breathtaking Landscape. Students are fully prepared and informed in the Classroom before embarking on any visit or
excursion. Students are encouraged to take part fully both inside and outside the Classroom. The Learning does not stop in the classroom.
